Hello everyone! As many of you know, I leave next week (May 4) for a five-week trip to Africa. For the month of May, I will be in Eastern Uganda for my graduate school field work. In the early part of June, I will be travelling to Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo to visit grantees that are supported by Crown Family Philanthropies (CFP), the foundation I work for in Chicago. My intention is to post pictures and observations weekly so that family, friends and colleagues can follow along on my adventure. I've never blogged before, so please be patient with me!
